Our Story
When Emma was just 8 years old, her parents opened their home to adults with developmental disabilities as foster providers. Over the years, many individuals came and went, but their home became known for something unique—its ability to stabilize individuals labeled as “high-behavioral,” many of whom had bounced from placement to placement before finally finding stability with them.
Two of these individuals moved in early on and quickly became inseparable from the family. Nearly 20 years later, Emma’s family continues to support and love them like their own. For Emma, they became like sisters. Witnessing their struggles, resilience, and humanity lit a fire in her to create lasting change for others like them.
At 18, Emma became a caregiver and began pursuing her degree, focusing on psychology and human behavior. Throughout her studies, she continued working in foster and group homes, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges and triumphs of this field. Eventually, she became a resident manager and took on responsibilities in behavioral analysis. By the time she graduated, she was overseeing all behavior supports for the organization.
In this work, Emma found her purpose. Identifying the root causes of behaviors and designing meaningful, person-centered supports became her passion. She earned her certification as a Qualified Behavior Professional and launched her first company, Supportive Living Solutions, where she worked independently as a Behavior Specialist.
As her client base grew, so did her vision. Emma wanted to empower others with the tools and training to make a difference too. It soon became clear that to reach more people and have greater impact, she would need a team. And so, her next chapter began.
